Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS Australia)

The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS Australia) is a not-for-profit foundation supported by thirteen sister organizations around the world.

The Client

BOS works under an official agreement with the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry for the conservation of orangutans and their ecosystem by involving and educating the local people. BOS is presently running the world's largest primate conservation project and employs more than 200 permanent staff.

The Brief

BOS Australia asked WiseInternet to re-design their website and build a donation system and a retail store allowing the purchase of BOS Australia merchandise. The website also required a content management system to add news updates and general information pages and an email marketing application.

The Solution

WiseInternet re-designed the BOS Australia website and installed the WiseShopper System.

The WiseShopper System includes a long list of standard features including a custom interface design, an online shopping catalogue, a content management system and an email newsletter application. The website was custom designed, newsletter templates were provided and all previous content and images was transferred from their old website into the new website. These services were all inclusive of the WiseShopper System package. Search engine optimisation is also standard when purchasing the WiseShopper System package. The website receives daily live server statistics and an online help system is available 24/7.

The WiseShopper features an intuitive, user-friendly interface that makes it simple to search for, browse, donate and purchase products from BOS Australia.
